| Workers on their lunch break. |
|
This famous picture of these workers on their lunch break was taken by Charles C Ebbit in the depression era of the 1930's. They were working on the Rockefeller center in Manhatten. Every time I see this picture I become more fascinated by their relaxed state sitting on this beam at such a great height. The guy on the right as you look at the picture appears to even have a bottle of spirits. I have seen two versions of this picture and the original has a high tensile cable on the right side of the picture which has been removed for this picture.
