Autistic sauvant Stephen Wiltshire

Stephen Wiltshire is an autistic savant who has an extraordinary talent. He can draw very detailed and accurate pictures from memory, they are that good they could almost be a blueprint. When he was eleven he drew the whole of central London after a helicopter trip above it. His nick name is 'the living camera.'

He has also sketched panoramic views of Tokyo, Hong Kong and Rome after helicopter rides, the drawings are 10 metres long and are as much a feat of artistry as prodigious memory: containing every building and structure that are so accurate even the number of windows in the buildings are correct. His artistic and extraordinary abilities have no limits.

Stephen's work has since been the subject of many TV documentaries: Watch clip from 'a beautiful mind a voyage into the brain'

Amazing what the human mind is capable of.

from Ace High

Amazing, his detail is spot on, right down to the number of windows in buildings etc and he never makes a mistake or uses an eraser, it's almost like watching a machine draw.
