These pictures by Julian Beaver are very clever, when seen from a particular viewpoint they look real, the water coming from the hosepipe is not real neither is the hose, in fact neither is the drain. You see him about to dive in water that is not real, it's all drawn on the pavement! Some of his work seems that real that people often walk around his work for fear of tripping over or falling into the object. These anamorphic illusions are drawn in a special distortion in order to create an impression of 3 dimensions. He cleverly becomes part of the illusion by his poses next to his art, it looks amazing.
